The media is becoming quite a piece of crap–and not just in the US of A. In most places, now, journalists aren’t people looking for the truth. They’re people looking for their paychecks, looking for stardom, and people working for greedy businessmen and women. Both local and national news organizations have started “hyping” and “buzzing”–two words relatively unknown to man during the years of Walter Cronkite. Whether it be hyping or buzzing votes in the Senate, a new movie up and coming, a new football (either sport) player, or anything else.
The sad part of it is that so many people are that naive and gullible to believe it all. They sit and gawk at television awaiting the media to say “what’s next” and “what’s not” anymore. It’s time to control your own destiny. Sit down and think of what you could possibly do to better yourself: think for yourself. That’s a start. For the rest of this month and next month, try it. Think for yourself; make your own valid opinions based on what you read in a newspaper and skip the editorial page. I guarantee you’ll like it much better than what you’re doing now.
